Hailing from Pinta Island in the Galapagos, Lonesome George was  the model for our humble and heroic Galapagos Tortoise necklace. Even after his untimely passing he is an ambassador of his not only his species, but for conservation throughout the globe.

The Stern Design Works Collected History Series focuses on the idea of creating a visual library of touchstones sowed with the seeds of shared fascinations.

Each piece is inspired by the STEAM initiative (Science, Technology Engineering, Art, Math) and bridges past to present by artfully combining 3D Printing with lost material casting and other traditional techniques.

Please note: Our Galapagos Tortoise come standard on a matching sterling silver or brass 16" chain, while the large size comes standard on a matching 24" chain. Please contact us if you would like to add a longer chain.
